Some surfaces cover a wall and others turn it into the focal point of the space. Vallelunga & Co.<\/strong> belongs to the second group: an Italian<\/strong> firm within the Ascot group, specialised in signature decorative ceramics<\/strong>. Its glazed porcelain reinterprets nature and art with an unusual sensitivity. At Gomila we work with Vallelunga<\/strong>, and here we highlight two of its most distinctive collections, Bloom<\/strong> and Grandiosa<\/strong>: floral and botanical motifs that unfold across the wall like a ceramic wallpaper<\/a>, with all the strength of porcelain stoneware.<\/p>\n

Bloom: the hand-painted garden<\/h2>\n

Bloom is a burst of floral and botanical motifs with sinuous lines, inspired by hand-drawn botanical illustrations. It comes in a 50\u00d7100 cm format and just 3.5 mm thick<\/strong> (as thin as wallpaper, yet strong and versatile), with high-definition details printed by cold digital printing that combine glossy and matte effects.<\/p>\n

Eight motifs (among them Loto<\/strong>, with lotus flowers in beige tones; Genus<\/strong>, crossed by golden threads and iridescent reflections; and Seta<\/strong>, Venere<\/strong> and Trama<\/strong>), plus two plain tiles, in two palettes: Avorio<\/strong> (ivory) and Avio<\/strong> (blue-grey). Ideal for adding character to a wall in the living room, bathroom or bedroom.<\/p>\n

Grandiosa Blooming: the large-format decorative range<\/h2>\n

When the floral motif calls for scale, along comes Grandiosa Blooming<\/strong>, Vallelunga’s large-format decorative family. Floral, dreamlike landscapes in warm, deep colours on slabs of 120\u00d7280 cm and 6 mm<\/strong>, with a slight three-dimensionality and continuous decorations that spread like wallpaper, with the advantage of a thin, light and resistant ceramic slab.<\/p>\n

Seven decors (Nix<\/strong>, Pan<\/strong>, Flo<\/strong>, Venere<\/strong> and Seta<\/strong>, in Avio and Avorio) to turn a wall into a piece of scenography. It shares motifs with Bloom, so both collections combine with each other: the large wall in Grandiosa, the detail in Bloom.<\/p>\n
