What is Trésor Bali?
Trésor Bali is a colour in the Trésor collection by Rosa Gres, a technical porcelain stoneware that evokes the tone of bright, turquoise water. It combines the advantages of a high-performance porcelain: water absorption below 0.5%, frost resistance and a slip-resistant finish ready for wet areas and barefoot traffic.

Why porcelain is the best paving for a pool
Safety: slip resistance where it matters
The floor around a pool is always wet, and safety comes first there. Trésor Bali has a Class 3 slip-resistant finish (Rd > 45), offering grip for bare feet without giving up a pleasant texture. Because it does not absorb water, Trésor Bali will not grow mould or damp stains and cleans with water and a neutral soap. A hygienic surface, with no annual sealing, ideal for an area that gets heavy use in summer.

In the Serra de Tramuntana, the studio GRAS Reynés Arquitectos selected it for the pool and outdoor areas of a historic estate restored as a luxury hotel, integrated with full respect into a protected landscape. The image says it all: an infinity pool, a wooden deck and a stone paving that looks as if it had always been there.
A little history
Son Bunyola is no ordinary estate. In the second half of the 19th century it belonged to Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, who gathered numerous properties along the north-west coast of Mallorca —between Valldemossa and Deià— to study the nature, geography and customs of the Balearic Islands. That work gave rise to Die Balearen, one of the most complete historical and ethnographic descriptions ever written about the islands. In the 21st century, after passing through various owners, the estate was restored by Virgin Limited Edition (Richard Branson’s group) and reopened as a luxury hotel.
