Some surfaces cover a wall and others turn it into the focal point of the space. Vallelunga & Co. belongs to the second group: an Italian firm within the Ascot group, specialised in signature decorative ceramics. Its glazed porcelain reinterprets nature and art with an unusual sensitivity. At Gomila we work with Vallelunga, and here we highlight two of its most distinctive collections, Bloom and Grandiosa: floral and botanical motifs that unfold across the wall like a ceramic wallpaper, with all the strength of porcelain stoneware.
Bloom: the hand-painted garden
Bloom is a burst of floral and botanical motifs with sinuous lines, inspired by hand-drawn botanical illustrations. It comes in a 50×100 cm format and just 3.5 mm thick (as thin as wallpaper, yet strong and versatile), with high-definition details printed by cold digital printing that combine glossy and matte effects.
Eight motifs (among them Loto, with lotus flowers in beige tones; Genus, crossed by golden threads and iridescent reflections; and Seta, Venere and Trama), plus two plain tiles, in two palettes: Avorio (ivory) and Avio (blue-grey). Ideal for adding character to a wall in the living room, bathroom or bedroom.
Grandiosa Blooming: the large-format decorative range
When the floral motif calls for scale, along comes Grandiosa Blooming, Vallelunga’s large-format decorative family. Floral, dreamlike landscapes in warm, deep colours on slabs of 120×280 cm and 6 mm, with a slight three-dimensionality and continuous decorations that spread like wallpaper, with the advantage of a thin, light and resistant ceramic slab.
Seven decors (Nix, Pan, Flo, Venere and Seta, in Avio and Avorio) to turn a wall into a piece of scenography. It shares motifs with Bloom, so both collections combine with each other: the large wall in Grandiosa, the detail in Bloom.
